Did you know that simple graphics can really increase your sales?  Hopefully, you already did, but if not, you know now.  People tend to be visual, so adding graphics such as ebook covers and software boxes have been known to boost sales ratios.  But what does this all have to do with PayPal?

PayPal is quite possibly one of the easiest (if not the easiest) ways to accept online payments for goods and services, and they have built up quite a brand.  However, you may have noticed that some people tend to click through intending to make a purchase but never complete the process.  So this got me thinking… I was wondering how I could possibly convert some of these ‘would be’ buyers into actual buyers.  And one of the things I tried boosted my conversions from about 3% to approximately 11%.

I bet you are wondering what I did.  Well, it was so simple, I was wondering why it did not occur to me before.  All I did was add a simple banner graphic to my PayPal payment page - nothing fancy, just a small ebook cover graphic and the name of the product plus the word ‘download’.  My successful sales completion rates improved almost overnight.  (** With the new button creator, you will have to manually add in the code to include the header/banner graphic).

This is just an example of how simple it is sometimes to boost your online profits.  So, take a minute, and regularly review your conversions.  You should always be testing new things to see what works in your online business.  Sometimes, the change is so minute that you wonder why you never considered it before.
